How do I get from Tokyo to Sapporo?

Plane: The quickest and easiest way to get to Sapporo is by plane. From Tokyo, it takes around 2 hours to fly to Sapporo. It is also possible to get to Sapporo from other airports in Japan. As Sapporo airport is international, you can even get there from other countries.

Access from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo Station (https://www.chuo-bus.co.jp/airport.en/) :

 ・RJ line: Rapid Airport Express, about 40 minutes (¥1,150)

 ・Limousine bus (Chuo/Hokuto Kotsu): about 1 hour 10 minutes (¥1,300) 

Train: you can also get there by train: [Shinkansen] Tokyo Station → Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station (approx. 4.5 hours), [Limited Express] Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station → Sapporo Station (approx. 3.5 hours).
